Project 52 Week:6| Lancaster NY family photographer

Hi Friends!  Whew!  This week was filled with many challenges... my hubby was out of town for the week and I HAD to play "single mom" to my 4 precious boys!  Let's just say, being BLESSED to have my "other half" is an understatement!  My heart goes out to all those single mom's who juggle it ALL with grace, integrity, and dignity!  So, with that being said, I am so proud of myself that I was still disciplined to find the beauty in my life this week and participate in my project 52!

The first theme was:  EMOTION...

I must put a disclaimer on here...my little 18 month old was loved, hugged, squeezed and smiley very shortly after capturing this moment!  He was displaying raw emotion as I had to tell him "NO!"... the word most of us hate to hear that often provokes raw emotion in the heart!

The second theme was:  LINEAR...

This one was tough for me, but it pushed me to think outside the box and find beauty in the everyday things.  With all the "missing" of daddy this week, I thought I would make the day a bit sweeter for my boys (and myself of course) and bake some yummy cookies!  Okay, don't judge... I know I'm not suppose to use food as a "feel good" substitute, but sometimes, the only thing that can satisfy the soul is the ooey, gooey goodness of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies!
