Project 52: Week 9 | Lancaster NY Photography

I am a few days late at getting this post done... we had a birthday to celebrate this weekend. It is so hard to believe that 11 years ago my first born came into my life. To say that my "Mr. C" has blessed my life is an understatement. With all the birthday celebrations this weekend and a house full of 9 BOYS, I found it fitting to seek out this past weeks theme with the festivities in mind. This past weeks themes were that of: "color" and "spring, is that you?".

I would certainly say that my first born has a vastly "colorful" personality and he was sure to display his vibrant personality with his friends this weekend. Of all the traits that make him so unique, a few stand out to me the most. My "Mr. C" is thoughtful, charismatic, and a perfectionist to say the least. But the characteristic he possesses that often brings me back to the giddy-mommy-love feeling is my guys zest for life and silly style! Thank you Channing for coloring my world with your amazing spirit and breath of life! I love you!

{Spring, is that you?}
Living in NY, the winters are incredibly long and spring often feels so far away.  Being from the south, this is a tough thing to have to get use to.  So when spring starts to rear it's head, I try to surround myself with the beauty, textures and simplicity of it.  Here's to hoping spring is not too far away and the winter is behind us!
