Over the summer, I had the pleasure of taking pictures of sweet Emily and her family as a participating photographer for Shoots for a Cure. Emily is absolutely, hands down, one of the bravest people I have ever met. She is facing the greatest battle of her life... ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). Emily was diagnosed earlier last year and has been handling her diagnosis with such grace, strength, and determination. She is celebrating this month because she has reached the "maintenance" phase of her treatment! And what better way to celebrate, then with a SNOW session with her 2 best friends who have helped "carry" and support her through this journey!
